So its been since the end of January? Writers block perhaps? Not enough going on to warrant a blog post? Quite the opposite actually. I can easily say this is THE busiest time of our lives so far. And it's only going to get busier as time ticks on. But we have had some mile-markers in the past few months.
Evelyn Mae turned ONE on March 26!! We are so thankful for our little lady.
Nate turned THREE on March 30th! He is such a joker & we love him!
Our house is pending sale! Praise God! We are so thankful for the Lord's timing in this, however it hasn't been smooth sailing all the way. We have been jumping through hoops for our buyer and have a few more to go. Continued prayers for the sale process would be much appreciated as its looking like closing will be pushed back into May.
Our support levels are at 90%! We have about 7 weeks to raise the last 10% of our monthly target before we are officially “released” to go. Truly, this has been the most rewarding & life-giving part of our journey thus far. We are so thankful to be first hand witnesses to the Body of Christ coming together in support of His work at RVA and us. It's been wonderful to build deep, meaningful relationships with those who are praying for us regularly and supporting us financially. We now have 57 monthly supporters & 36 who have given one-time gifts, and even more who have prayed with us & for us. THANK YOU! We know that the Lord has raised the first 90% and He will certainly raise this last 10%, but we find ourselves out of steam & at times weary. We ask for continued prayers for the support to come in, for encouragement & stamina to finish strong. He is our provider, Jehovah Jireh, and we trust in Him.
If you feel so led to support us monthly, please be in touch! See one of the links on the right sidebar or be in touch with one of us. We only have about $400/month to go!
So in our up and coming months of crazy, we have to finish our physicals & immunizations, finish the sale of this house (hopefully!), figure out what we’re doing with everything we own, move out of our house & into a small house the Lord is providing, pack our lives into 15-20 bags, and spend meaningful time with our friends & family. whew! We speak candidly, but the stress & the decisions are real and we’d appreciate prayer for oneness in our marriage in the midst of all of this. We’d appreciate prayer for our parenting in the midst of all of this. That we would draw closer to Him who has called our family to this and lean on Him for our strength.
Also, if we can be praying for YOU in any way, PLEASE let us know. We’d love to be lifting you up in prayer this day and everyday.
